Now it’s time to try out what you’ve learned. If you can accomplish the tasks listed below, you can feel comfortable with your understanding of the topics in this section.

Add Apple’s main website (www.apple.com) to your Dock.  

Use Sherlock to search the Internet for information about Mac OS X.  

Use Sherlock to find a movie playing near your home.  

Use Sherlock to find driving directions from your home to your work or school.  

If you have a .Mac account, copy one of the practice files to the Documents folder on your iDisk.  

Check for updates to your Mac OS X software.  

Use QuickTime Player and iTunes to watch video and listen to music on the Internet.  

Locate the folder in which you put web pages you want to share with others on your network.
