Getting Help from the Internet

To ensure that you have access to the latest Help information, the Help system in Mac OS X (Mac Help) is connected to the Internet. Much of the Help system content is stored on your hard disk, so you don’t have to be online to access it. However, when you are online, Mac Help will check for new or updated information.
