Saving Files

In Mac OS X, saving files is easier than ever. When it’s time to save, a sheet appears. This sheet is where you name the file and choose where to save it. Sheets are attached to the window they belong to; so, with a save sheet, you always know what file you’re saving.

You can save your file in a frequently visited place such as Home, Favorites, or one of your recently accessed folders. Or you can save your file somewhere else by navigating to a location on your hard disk.
