No matter what computer operating system you’ve been using, you’ll feel very comfortable working with Mac OS X. Everything you’re accustomed to—such as menus, windows, folders, and applications—is still there. The only difference is that these items are easier to use, prettier to look at, and a lot more powerful.
If you’ve used a Mac before, you’ll find familiar items, including your hard disk, Finder windows, the Trash, and the Apple menu. You’ll also see some new features, such as the Dock and a brand-new look and feel.
